Shipping Policy
Last updated: September 2026
We aim to deliver HIT products promptly, securely and in good condition. This Shipping Policy explains our processing times, estimated delivery times, shipping charges and procedures for delivery issues.
Shipping Destinations
We ship within the United Kingdom and to international destinations where delivery is available.
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, clearance fees or other charges imposed by the destination country.
Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, these charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the product price or HIT shipping charge.
Processing Time
Orders are normally processed within 1-4 business days, excluding weekends and public holidays, following receipt of payment and order confirmation.
If there is a significant delay in processing your order, we will aim to notify you.
Estimated Delivery Times
Standard UK Delivery: 2-4 business days
Express UK Delivery: 1-3 business days
International Delivery: 5-10 business days, depending on destination and customs clearance
These are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates.
Delivery may be affected by circumstances outside HIT's reasonable control, including courier delays, weather, customs processing, international border requirements and local delivery conditions.
Shipping Costs
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on the delivery address, shipping method and applicable order details.
Express and international delivery charges are displayed at checkout.
Order Tracking
Where tracking is available, you will receive a shipping confirmation containing tracking information after your order has been dispatched.
Delivery Issues
If your package appears to be lost, significantly delayed or damaged during shipping, please contact us at info@hitrecognition.com as soon as possible and preferably within 7 calendar days of the expected delivery date.
We will work with the relevant courier or postal provider to investigate the issue.
Incorrect Shipping Information
Customers are responsible for checking that the delivery information provided when ordering is accurate and complete.
If an order cannot be delivered or is returned to HIT because incorrect or incomplete delivery information was supplied, additional delivery charges may apply before the order is resent.
Nothing in this section affects rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.
Damaged or Missing Items
If your order arrives damaged or with components missing, please contact info@hitrecognition.com as soon as possible and preferably within 7 calendar days of receipt.
We may request photographs or other information to help us assess the issue.
Where appropriate, we will arrange a replacement or refund in accordance with our Returns Policy and applicable consumer rights.
Pre-Orders and Backorders
Where products are offered for pre-order or are temporarily on backorder, estimated dispatch information will be provided at checkout or communicated separately.
Estimated dates may change. Where appropriate, we will notify customers of material changes to expected availability.
Your Consumer Rights
This Shipping Policy does not affect statutory rights available under applicable consumer law, including rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 for UK consumers.

Returns Policy
Last updated: September 2026
We want customers to be satisfied with their HIT products. This policy explains how to return eligible purchases.
Nothing in this policy affects statutory consumer rights.
30-Day Return Policy
You may request to return an eligible purchase within 30 calendar days of delivery.
To qualify under our standard returns policy, the product should be:
unused;
in its original condition;
returned with its original packaging and included components;
accompanied by proof of purchase.
This standard return policy does not apply to products damaged through misuse, improper handling or ordinary wear and tear.
Different rights may apply where a product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise does not conform to your statutory consumer rights.
How to Initiate a Return
Before sending a product back to HIT, contact our customer service team at:
info@hitrecognition.com
Please provide your order details and reason for the return. We will provide return instructions where applicable.
Return Shipping
For returns made under our standard 30-day returns policy, customers are generally responsible for return shipping costs.
Where an item was supplied incorrectly or is accepted as defective, HIT will cover reasonable return shipping costs.
Your statutory rights are unaffected.
Refunds
Once a returned item has been received and assessed, we will notify you of the outcome.
Where a refund is due, it will be issued to the original payment method.
We aim to process approved refunds promptly and normally within 14 business days, subject to payment-provider processing times.
Where permitted by applicable law, deductions may be made where a returned product has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, or where components are missing.
Exchanges
If you would like a different product, please contact us.
Depending on the circumstances, we may ask you to return the original product and place a new order after the return has been processed.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products
If your product arrives damaged, appears defective or you receive an incorrect item, please contact info@hitrecognition.com as soon as reasonably possible.
We may request photographs, video or other information to help assess the issue.
Where a defect, damage or fulfilment error is confirmed, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable consumer law and our Warranty Policy.
Your Consumer Rights
This Returns Policy is in addition to your statutory consumer rights.
For UK consumers, these may include rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 for qualifying distance purchases and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in relation to faulty or non-conforming goods.
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes rights that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
