Our Guarantee
We are committed to manufacturing HIT products to high standards. Our commercial warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship subject to the terms below.
3-Month Manufacturing Warranty
HIT provides a 3-month manufacturing warranty from the date of purchase covering defects in materials or workmanship.
This commercial warranty is provided in addition to your statutory consumer rights and does not replace or restrict those rights.
What the Warranty Covers
defective components or parts resulting from manufacturing defects;
faults in assembly or workmanship that impair the product's normal performance.
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
damage caused by improper use, neglect, accidents or unauthorised modifications;
normal wear and tear, including cosmetic damage such as scratches or dents;
damage resulting from failure to follow HIT's user instructions or care guidance;
products purchased from unauthorised resellers or distributors.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
If you believe your HIT product has a manufacturing defect:
Contact our customer service team at info@hitrecognition.com within the warranty period.
Provide proof of purchase, such as your receipt or order confirmation.
Provide a description of the issue and, where appropriate, photographs or video demonstrating the problem.
If a return is required, HIT will provide instructions for returning the product.
Warranty Resolution
Following inspection and verification of an eligible manufacturing defect, HIT may, as appropriate:
repair the defective product at no cost;
replace it with a new or refurbished product of equivalent value;
provide a refund where repair or replacement is not reasonably possible.
HIT will cover reasonable shipping costs associated with returning and replacing products accepted under this warranty.
Limitations
This commercial warranty applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
Replacement of a product under the commercial warranty does not restart or extend the original 3-month warranty period.
Your Consumer Rights
This commercial warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights under applicable consumer law.
For UK consumers, these include rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including rights where goods are not of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose or as described.
Nothing in this Warranty limits or excludes statutory rights that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
