Check.
The HIT app's Brain Health Check guides athletes, parents and coaches through a clinically informed symptom assessment — delivering clear, actionable guidance in seconds.
Track your Brain Health record.
The Brain Health tab gives you a complete historical record of every session, Brain Health Check and self-reported concussion — all in one place. At a glance, colour-coded indicators show the status of each event so you're never left guessing.
Answer clinically informed symptom questions.
When a Brain Health Check is triggered, the app guides the user through a series of clear, clinically informed questions — covering red flag symptoms like neck pain, vision changes and loss of consciousness. Simply tap to select what applies and continue.
Rate the severity of each symptom.
For each symptom reported, the athlete rates its severity — None, Low, Moderate or High. This granular data allows HIT to build a comprehensive picture of post-impact wellbeing, going beyond a simple yes/no to deliver nuanced, accurate guidance.
Receive clear, actionable guidance instantly.
Once the check is complete, the app delivers an immediate, plain-language result — telling the athlete or guardian exactly what to do next. No ambiguity. No guesswork. Whether that's returning to play, resting, or seeking medical attention — HIT tells you clearly.
Three possible outcomes.
Zero ambiguity.
Every Brain Health Check ends with one of three clear results — colour-coded and explained in plain language.
No significant symptoms detected. The athlete is cleared to return to activity — with the data logged for ongoing monitoring.
Mild symptoms present. The athlete should rest and avoid further impacts until symptoms resolve — with a re-check recommended.
Significant symptoms reported. The athlete should seek medical attention immediately and avoid all impact activity for 48–72 hours minimum.
